The places we're here for

Everyone on this page is someone we plan to help. They never give us money. The people and businesses who give are thanked on the Thank-you wall.

Shelter staff, care-home recreation teams, teachers, vets, therapy-dog handlers. You've been doing this work for years with too little help. We started Shiba Humanity Hub to be some of that help: to stand behind you, not in front of you.

Truth right now: We're incorporated in Canada. Our application for charity registration is with the CRA. We can't fund anyone yet, and we won't promise help we can't deliver. If you tell us what you need now, you'll be first in line when our charity rails are live, and what you tell us shapes what we fund first.

What it costs you

Nothing. You'll never be asked for money, a sponsorship, a fee, a donation or a promotion. Not now, not later.

What we'll ask for (to help well)

One named contact and an honest list of what would help.
Receipts or invoices for what we pay, so donors can see where gifts went.
A short note now and then on how it's going, with no personal details.
Consent, under your own policies, before any story or photo. Saying no never affects the help.

What we'll never ask: money, sponsorship, a logo as a condition of help, that you hold, buy, promote or mention $NIBBLES or $hopeseed, or any resident, student, client or adopter data.

How we choose who we help

We look for a legal entity in good standing, a confirmed signing authority, and agreement that help is never tied to promotion. Once we're registered, CRA rules govern where charitable funds can go. Counsel will confirm the structure before the first dollar moves.
